Karine and Daniel, from Belgium, are happy to welcome you to their guest room
on Faial Island.
Faial belongs to the central archipelago of the Azores, an archipelago consisting of nine
islands and located in the middle of the immensely, blue Atlantic Ocean.
Together with the islands of Pico and São Jorge, it forms the Azores Triangle or
"Ilhas do Triângulo".
Faial is the most cosmopolitan island of the Azores, thanks to the marina and sailing port
of Horta, the principal city.
Because of the many blue hydrangeas it is also called the blue island or "Ilha Azul".
Casa Dankari is situated in the parish of Ribeirinha, on the east side of the island and within walking distance
of the ocean. It is quietly located on the countryside and is surrounded by green meadows and forests.
You can enjoy here a wonderful panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean and the island of Pico
with the majestic omnipresent mount Pico!
On clear days you can also see "Ilha de São Jorge".
At night there is a great view on the lights of neigboring Pico island and the city of Madalena.
Our stay also offers a good base for taking walks.
